Scenic Rides in a Model A Ford — Picnic on Ashley Creek — Lunch

Bo’s Hollow Model A Ford Rides

Lower ride: Your scenic ride will begin at the Village in a Model A of your choice. You will go through the Covered Bridge, be sure to read the Burma Shave signs. Watch for wildlife, you never know when you will see a Deer, Turkey, Blue or Green Heron or Bald Eagle. You will then return to the Village. Allow about fifteen minutes for the ride.

Upper ride: This ride takes you up the winding road to the hilltop. You will circle the Log Cabin, Restoration Barn & Stable. The sheep, and donkeys, are eager to greet you. See the beautiful view from the hilltop. You will wind down the hill with a view of the creek and go through the Covered Bridge to return to the Village.

Model A Rides are every thirty minutes beginning at 10:00 am, with a minimum of two people.

You have your choice of Model A’s to ride in:

1. Aunt Peggy: An original four-door Town Sedan
2. Love Bug: A Coupe with rumble seat
3. Aunt Kathy: Tudor Sedan

LUNCH
Our Delicious BBQ Beef or Pork Sandwich on Fresh Bun. We season the meat with our special seasonings and then smoke with Hickory for hours. We then add our special recipe of BBQ sauce to make it delicious.

Hot dogs, Links, P&J Sandwich, Soft drinks, Chips, Cole Slaw, Homemade Candy, Fresh Baked Cookies, Pickles are available.

No Reservation needed for the BBQ or Picnic.

Picnic On Ashley Creek
Tell Ellena if you want to go on a Picnic Ride. When you have made your choice for lunch she will put your lunch in a picnic basket for your Model A ride to Ashley Creek.

Grumpy Uncle Bones will pick you up in the Model A at the back of Granny’s BBQ House. He will put your lunch on the car trunk rack and help you enter. Then you are ready for your ride to Ashley Creek.
At the creek, you will relax and eat at the picnic table under the pavilion. Walk around and enjoy the peacefulness of the creek. Children can wade in the creek. Listen to the flowing of the creek. You never know what wildlife you may see.

After thirty minutes, Grumpy will pick you up for your return trip to the Village.

Cost of Picnic Ride and Lunch is the cost of lunch plus $5.00 for a ride minimum of two people
